Glamour magazine will broadcast its “Women of the Year Awards” for the first time ever this year, according to an announcement by the magazine’s editor-in-chief.

Sarah Michelle Gellar, a previous winner of the award and one of America’s favorite stars, is set to host the event next Monday at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

Fighting vampires as “Buffy” and gracing countless screens and magazine covers have made Gellar an all-around Hollywood heavy-hitter, both on screen and off.

As host of the ceremony, she’ll honor other strong women, like herself, who’ve made exemplary contributions to society. According to The Hollywood Reporter, KELLY RIPA, of “Live with Regis and Kelly,” is among those expected to receive the honor this year. P

The event will air in syndication beginning November 13.
