This week’s episode of Ringer showed a lot of tension in Andrew and “Siobhan’s” marriage. As Bridget fiddled with the hitman’s phone, she came to the conclusion that Andrew might be involved with the men who were trying to kill her. She also learned that Siobhan was visiting with a divorce lawyer and when Andrew found out about it, he exploded at her. Eventually, the two managed to resolve their difficulties and Andrew suggested that they both trust each other.

Henry told Andrew that he wanted to pull their money from Andrew’s hedge fund, but Andrew’s business partner let the beans spill to Gemma (in hopes of keeping her father’s business) and this caused a huge rift in their marriage.

Meanwhile, Victor is still trying to get information about Bridget from Siobhan, while Malcolm’s been shot up with drugs by the criminal who is trying to kill Bridget. In Paris, Siobhan learned the unexpected news that she’s pregnant.

In the October 4 episode of Ringer, Henry, Gemma, Bridget and Andrew head to the Hamptons to celebrate “Siobhan’s” birthday. Henry wants to use the trip as an chance to rekindle his relationship with Siobhan.

Sarah Michelle Gellar on Insecurity, Kate Middleton, and Getting Inspired

The CW star dishes to Health about feeling insecure, her thoughts on Kate and Pippa Middleton, and the secret to her marriage to Freddie Prinze, Jr., in the October 2011 issue, hitting newsstands September 23.

On female insecurity:
“I totally have body dysmorphic disorder. I think most women do…I just have to remember that I’m human, and I’m a mom. Being a parent changes the vanity at least a little bit.”

On the fascination over Kate Middleton’s weight:
“It seems like people are worried that she’s stressed. I feel like 10 years ago, it would have been like, ‘Oh, she looks incredible.’ Whereas you look at her sister, who has such a fabulously athletic body…and I think there’s this movement now, where more women, finally, want to look like that.”

On using a photo of a famous woman’s body for inspiration:
“I would never do that to myself, especially because I’m aware of the airbrushing and trainers and food programs. You have to use yourself as inspiration.”

On keeping fit during pregnancy:
“Well, I went into labor at the Pilates gym. I was getting cranky…it turned out I was in labor, I didn’t realize.”

On growing up in New York City:
“I think, automatically, you look at the world differently if you’re from a big city. You’re never bored, you don’t stay home, you’re always on your feet. I think it generates type A personalities.”

On her successful marriage of nine years to Freddie Prinze, Jr.:
“We communicate. That’s my secret. It’s not a secret, but it’s how I handle all my good relationships, whether they’re male-female [or not]. If you bottle things up, it explodes on you.”

On how she avoids getting too stressed out:
“I’m not saving the world. I have to remember that I like my job, but it’s work, and it’s not my life. My life is my family. And I think that’s the best thing.”

Ringer > 1×02 – She’s Ruining Everything

Ringer premiered last night to decent enough ratings, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens with the longevity of the show, but the premiere left us with a lot of questions that I’m anxious to see answered.

The September 20 episode of Ringer picks up essentially where the premiere left off: Bridget has just killed a hitman sent after Siobhan. Frightened, she calls Malcolm for guidance, but doesn’t want to go with his suggestion of calling the police. After all, Bridget is now a fugitive on the run from the FBI. Speaking of the FBI, Victor Machado decides to stick around New York and try to get more information out of “Siobhan” about Bridget. In other words, Bridget’s world is starting to get very tense.

Dexter’s Jamie Murray will be making a guest appearance as Andrew’s business partner and the duo decide to throw a client party. Gemma continues to get even more confrontational as she discovers more proof that Henry is having an affair. From the look of the photo to the right, it appears that Gemma is starting to lash out about the whole situation.

Siobhan, meanwhile, seems to be in Paris, complaining about how her sister is “ruining everything”. But she won’t let that put a crimp in whatever plans she’s trying to implement.

September 14, 2011 (Burbank, CA) — The series premiere of Ringer delivered The CW’s largest audience in the Tuesday 9-10:00p.m. time period in over three years (2.74 million, best since the 90210 series debut on 9/2/08), according to preliminary Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011. Ringer also scored the time period’s best women 18-49 (1.6/4) delivery in over 2 years (since 9/8/09) and best women 18-34 (1.6/4) performance here since 11/09/09. (…)
