Baldwin, Gellar’s ‘Suburban Girl’ going direct to DVD

Melbourne, Sept 18 : Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alec Baldwin’s new flick ‘Suburban’ girl will not be hitting theatres, but instead is heading straight for a DVD release.

Gellar plays a naive associate book editor named Brett who is embarking on her first big job.

Her character is overwhelmed until she develops a romance with the seasoned literary star Archie Knox, played by Alec Baldwin, who opens the doors to the glamorous world for her.

However, life takes a turn when she is faced with a family crisis.

Confirming the news of the direct to DVD release was Image Entertainment, via Whedonesque, reports Moviehole.net.

‘Suburban Girl’ has been directed by Marc Klein.

  1. Too true! Conceptually this article (us Sarah Michelle Gellar: glamorous-smg.com) is sound and I agree whole heartedly. I personally think it relates to New Release DVD as well, IMHO.
